Mayuko On Being Native Level In Japanese AND English
I just read the title, and want to watch to any videos of your channel 😊 I'll add your channel to my black list after this comment. You should create videos with a titles like "You can't reach the stars with Anki", "You can't find a love with Anki", "You can't move to another country with Anki", and etc. ( same for each language tool ). You are welcome ( for ideas ) 😉 Clickbate "culture" is terrible, but with that now you have +1 view, +1 comment and -1 potential subscriber, maybe its worth it, idk.
I can't even catch your fluent in english
duolingo su- my lawyer suggested i shall not continue this statement. (lawyer=duolingo)
As a beginner in Japanese, I began my journey with manga and anime, but I struggled to understand the main idea without assistance. I used to depend on Google Translate, which didn't help me progress in learning the language. Now, I prefer Immersive Translate because it presents both languages side by side, allowing me to learn new words and phrases on my own rather than just skimming through poorly translated texts.
Experts used to think it takes 5-7 years to achieve fluency in a language, now we know it takes longer.
I do 1 hour a day of French on Duolingo and another hour of falou
Anki is the best way to immerse thyself in the language if ye weren't born in the country ye want to learn from, without it I'll never start to understand everything. Maybe I have an innate lack of communication skills, but that's why it's terrible being ADHD+ neurodivergent. So don't give a shite about the opinions of those influencers, rich c*nts who can afford any private tutor because of their obscenely wealthy parents. Anki is just a puzzle to understand everything, yet not to speak or write well, so do it with Deeple Write and other tools ye like.
いきいき してる。 きぼう が ある。
I tried to learn Spanish using Duolingo. I quit after 9 months when I realized that I could talk about how much my cat liked to swim in a swimming pool, but could not ask where the bathroom was.

I watched him during college when I studied to help me study during covid
Duolingo is good as a vocab reminder
He’s back!!! I can’t understand how you don’t have more views the quality is not notch. 頑張って!
I have a question to those who don’t agree that the person in this video sounds like a native: 1. What do you believe gives him/her away as far as accent is concerned? 2. If you don’t believe you can totally sound like a native if you have acquired the language late in life, would you agree that it is possible to learn to sound like one some of the time, in other words, for instance, 70% or 50% of the time in a conversation? This is just an example. I am curious to know your thoughts.
interviews are not proof of anything as it's all anecdotal
my problem is 1.that I am 14 witch means I'm always with my family so I can't do any type of call so I have to find another way 2. english is my 2nd language and I'm translating from Japanese to english mostly witch noticeably slows me 3.I can't just figure out how to use anki and those card stuff
The relationship part is only true if Japanese is the only/main language you can/ agree to communicate in. Oftentimes(like in my case) the person from Japan also wants to learn English so that might be the main language you use to communicate at least until your Japanese is better than his/her English(for example) and as English is easier, it's more likely the case that you'd actually use it. Struggling to communicate can make it very tough to be in a relationship. But it really is beneficial if you are forced to use that language as I've always said it "imagine you wake up at night from a bad dream, or even wake up in the morning and are sleepy AF... You have no choice but to use that language to communicate with your partner".
If you aren’t already doing that (tv shows, podcasts, books, music) then are you really even trying to learn the language? Because you simply can’t expect fluency with just an app. Immerse yourselves, with as many other things as you possibly can.
So speaking is practicing? 🤔
Okay, you have convinced me to use anki.
I have my problems with such titles. Of course you will not get fluent by only focusing on Anki and getting a living dictionary. However, Anki is great for learning vocabulary explicitly and repeat known vocabulary. Especially in the beginning where you know nearly no vocabulary it is very helpful for getting on good basis. You always should get comprehensive input as early as possible. But Anki represents a good addition to all ither ressources you can and should use.
窓外放出 😂
Me casually learning Japanese with the hope that I could hopefully finish it in 2-3 years
So does it help or no?
我也是台灣人
Duolingo è stato un bene italiano per me. Il bene italiano è per Duolingo. Lo consiglio vivamente grato
I've learned English as a second language and reached the point of fluency. So approaching a new language isn't new to me. Now I'm heading to learning Japanese but I find this extremely hard. Those kanjis scare the crap out of me. 😭😭😭
Thanks a lot bro u helped me a lot
no you can't get fluent. but you can only get fluent going immersion in a country of the language you're studying. but duo lingo is not bad. ok sometimes the pronunciation if terrible specially with japanse. they speak so fast that even my japanese friend doesn't know what there saying. I study japanse 2 days a week trough a language learning school. when I return from home, I immerse myself in only japanse stuff. but the things you learn in duo lingo are very usable in Japan. And they learn you about many topics. which line up with language learning schools. I'm native dutch, but the things you learn in the dutch course are not relevant in any way. the japanse course is very good these days.
based Anki
How can I get constant exposure with with a fictional language like high valyrian?
日本人やけど、この動画はめちゃくちゃ英語の勉強になりますw
Whats the dong at the start snd end
You can learn japanese in 1 year if: you have no family, you have no kids, you have no full time job - and so you can immerse 24/7 using ajaat or something
Duolingo+him=die
めっちゃおもしろい動画ですね
Duo is fun tho
I like this video so much. If you don't mind, I would like to ask your permission to share this video to the other website in China for the embarrassing reason that UA-cam is blocked fromac cessing in China. Of course, I will give sources of the original website. Thank you very much.
I d like to start immersion watching anime , though i couldn’t fine where to download anime with no subtitles , i d be extremely grateful if anyone could help 😭
My ass who learned japanese through anime😭
Thank you so much for the references! I’m still in phase 1 but I was struggling to figure out how to come across native Japanese speakers without seeming like a complete weirdo. Thank you so much!

Banana mic
Please i want the name of the music in the outro of the video !!!?
Isnt it wrong to say you learned Japanese in a year when you have been studying for many years yet went hard core in one year ...? It not like it was 0 from 100
I want to visit Japan within the next year or two in order to go see the Yunagoni Monument. Do you feel like I would need to be fluent in the language just for a week vacation??? Thanks.
Dude, you’re just crazy smart and talented. Passing N1 in one year sounds impossible shit to me
Once I finish my Japanese course I'll have to say buhbye to that steak and move on to other ways like just exposure
